Sub-Assembly Technician

Are you a Production Operative, Assembly Technician or Mechanical Assembler with experience using hand and power tools, looking to join a specialist manufacturing business building high-quality products within a close-knit production team?
On offer is the opportunity to join an established specialist manufacturer within its production team, where you'll receive hands-on experience working on a range of mechanical sub-assemblies. You'll work within a clean, quality-focused environment and have the opportunity to develop your practical manufacturing skills.
In this role, you'll build, test and inspect sub-assemblies in line with production schedules and quality standards. You'll use conventional workshop hand and power tools, follow work instructions and technical drawings and ensure components are assembled accurately and efficiently.
You'll work closely with the Sub-Assemblies Cell Leader and wider manufacturing team, supporting other areas of production when required while maintaining high standards of workmanship, organisation and Health & Safety.
This role would suit someone with practical assembly, production, manufacturing or mechanical experience who is confident using hand tools and enjoys hands-on work. The company is looking primarily for a good attitude, reliability and attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
The Role Build, test and inspect mechanical sub-assemblies. Use workshop hand and power tools. Follow drawings, work instructions and production schedules. Maintain high workmanship and quality standards. Support other areas of manufacturing when required. Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm. The Person Assembly, production or practical mechanical experience. Confident using hand and power tools. Able to follow technical drawings and instructions. Strong attention to detail and quality. Reliable with a good work ethic and hands-on attitude.
