Full Job DescriptionEcommerce Manager (Shopify)Gillingham, Kent£37,000-£42,000 + Growth-Related Bonus + 28 Days Holiday + 4pm Friday Finish + Hybrid Considered + Staff Discount + Pension + Free ParkingAre you an Ecommerce Manager or Ecommerce Executive with strong Shopify experience, looking to take complete ownership of the ecommerce function for a growing consumer brand?
On offer is the opportunity to join an ambitious business within the professional beauty industry, where you'll have genuine responsibility for the performance and development of its online sales channels. Rather than joining a large ecommerce team, you'll be the go-to person for ecommerce, giving you the autonomy to identify opportunities, make improvements and directly influence online growth.
In this role, you'll take hands-on ownership of the Shopify website, monitoring traffic, conversion, sales and customer behaviour to understand what's working and where improvements can be made. You'll manage product listings, merchandising and the online customer journey while working closely with the wider Marketing team on promotions, campaigns and new product launches.
You'll also manage relationships with external SEO, Google PPC and web development partners, using their expertise alongside your own ecommerce knowledge to improve performance. The business already has an international ecommerce presence, so you'll also support and manage its existing international activity as the company continues to develop its reach.
This role would suit a commercially minded ecommerce professional who is confident working independently and wants genuine ownership rather than being one part of a large digital team. Shopify experience is essential, alongside a good understanding of SEO, Google PPC and ecommerce analytics. Experience within beauty, retail or another consumer product environment would be advantageous but isn't essential.

Improve online sales, conversion and customer journey.
Monitor website traffic, sales and ecommerce performance. Manage SEO, PPC and web development agency relationships.
Support product launches, promotions and international ecommerce.
Monday-Thursday 9am-5pm, Friday 9am-4pm.The PersonStrong ecommerce experience with hands-on Shopify knowledge.

Commercially minded with a focus on conversion and growth.
Able to independently manage ecommerce projects and agencies.
Commutable to Gillingham, Kent; hybrid considered for the right person.
