Are you a Senior Pump Engineer, Pump Supervisor or Pump Manager with extensive industry experience, looking to step into a senior position where you'll take ownership of a growing pump division and lead engineers across domestic and commercial projects?

On offer is the opportunity to join an established, family-run business experiencing significant growth, with its largest division having grown threefold. You'll take responsibility for a key operational function within the company, working closely with the Directors while having the autonomy to develop the team, improve operations and support the continued growth of the division.

In this role, you'll oversee the day-to-day operation of the Pump Division, managing engineers and supporting a wider team of approximately 20 staff. You'll coordinate workloads across six service vehicles, provide technical support, review jobs and engineer reports, prepare quotations and RAMS, attend sites where required and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard.

This role would suit an experienced pump industry professional who combines strong technical knowledge with leadership and operational experience. You'll be comfortable supporting engineers with complex faults, dealing directly with customers and taking responsibility for the performance and organisation of a busy service operation.

The Role

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the Pump Division.
  • Lead and support engineers across domestic and commercial projects.
  • Coordinate workloads, scheduling and operational priorities.
  • Provide technical support and complex fault-finding guidance.
  • Review reports and prepare quotations and RAMS.
  • Attend sites and manage key customer relationships.

The Person

  • Strong professional experience within the pump industry.
  • Technical knowledge of pumps and pumping systems.
  • Supervisory, management or senior engineering experience.
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving ability.
  • Commercially aware with strong organisational skills.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
