Are you a Commercial Manager, Business Development Manager or Sales Manager with strong experience in container transport or road haulage, looking to take a leading commercial role within an established transport business?
On offer is the opportunity to join an established container transport business where you'll play a key role in driving its next stage of growth. You'll have the autonomy to develop new customer relationships, grow existing accounts and identify commercially attractive opportunities across the container transport market, with a highly rewarding bonus structure directly linked to your performance.
In this role, you'll be responsible for winning new business while developing existing customer accounts, managing pricing and tender opportunities and ensuring contracts deliver sustainable margins. You'll work closely with the operational team to ensure new business is commercially viable, operationally deliverable and profitable.
You'll use your existing knowledge of the container transport market to identify opportunities and build relationships with prospective customers. Industry knowledge is essential, and established relationships across container transport, road haulage, freight forwarding or associated markets would be highly advantageous.
This role would suit a commercially driven transport professional who understands the container haulage industry and can combine relationship-led business development with pricing, account management and commercial decision-making. General logistics experience alone won't be sufficient; you'll need a strong understanding of the container transport market and how profitable transport business is won and retained.

- Commercially driven with strong customer relationship skills.
- Full UK driving licence and commutable to Felixstowe.
