Aviation Operations Director
Cheltenham
£140,000-£150,000 + 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + 5% Pension + Private Medical Insurance + 3x Life Assurance + Relocation Support + Additional Leave Scheme
Are you an Aviation Operations Director, General Manager or senior aviation leader with airline and ATO experience, alongside current or previous SFI/SFE or TRI/TRE experience, looking to take overall responsibility for Flight Training, Operations and Maintenance within a growing aviation training organisation?
On offer is a newly created senior leadership position within an established and expanding aviation training organisation, where you'll report directly to the CEO and take responsibility for three critical operational functions.
You'll have significant autonomy and influence over operational strategy, with access to state-of-the-art training facilities and the opportunity to play a key role in the organisation's continued growth.
In this role, you'll provide strategic and operational leadership across Flight Training, Operations and Maintenance/Fleet Support.
You'll lead the managers responsible for each function, aligning aircraft availability, maintenance planning and training delivery while driving operational performance and maintaining the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.
The position is also expected to include Accountable Manager responsibilities across UK CAA, EASA and GCAA requirements.
This role would suit an accomplished aviation leader with experience across both airline and ATO environments who can demonstrate strong operational and people leadership.
You must have current or previous SFI/SFE or TRI/TRE experience and be comfortable balancing regulatory accountability, safety, commercial objectives and operational performance at executive level.
