Full job description Electrical Contracts Manager Three Legged Cross, Dorset £65,000 - £70,000 + Performance Bonus + Company Vehicle + 28 Days Holiday + Company Pension + Career Progression Are you an Electrical Contracts Manager, Electrical Operations Manager or Senior Electrical Project Manager with experience leading teams of electricians and managing the commercial performance of electrical works, looking to take ownership of a growing electrical division? On offer is the opportunity to join a growing, family-run electrical contractor where you'll take responsibility for the operational and commercial performance of one of the company's key divisions. You'll work directly alongside the Director and Business Development Manager, with genuine autonomy to develop the team, improve profitability and play a major role in the continued growth of the business. In this role, you'll manage a team of electricians and apprentices while overseeing multiple domestic and commercial electrical works from quotation through to completion. You'll be responsible for estimating, resource planning, project progress, quality and engineer performance, while taking ownership of the division's P&L and working alongside Business Development to support further growth. This role would suit an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager with a strong technical background who is equally comfortable managing people and commercial performance. You'll need to understand electrical works well enough to confidently quote and oversee projects, while having proven experience managing a team and taking responsibility for profitability and growth. The Role Manage multiple domestic and commercial electrical works from quotation through to completion. Lead, manage and develop a team of electricians and apprentices. Produce quotations and estimates for electrical works. Manage workloads, resources, project progress, budgets and delivery. Take ownership of divisional P&L, profitability and commercial performance. Monitor engineer productivity, quality and operational standards. Work alongside Business Development to support continued growth. Ensure works comply with BS 7671 and relevant industry standards. The Person Experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager, Electrical Operations Manager or similar. Proven experience managing teams of electricians and apprentices. Strong electrical estimating, quoting and contract management experience. Proven P&L management and commercial responsibility. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation. 18th Edition Wiring Regulations / BS 7671. 2391 Inspection & Testing advantageous. Full UK driving licence and commutable to Three Legged Cross.
