Are you an Agricultural Operations Manager, Farm Manager, Yard Manager or Agricultural Supervisor with a practical farming background, looking for a varied role where you can combine hands-on operations, transport management and problem-solving while helping grow an ambitious rural business? Working directly alongside the founder, you'll become his operational right-hand person, taking ownership of the day-to-day running of the yard, fleet and logistics, with genuine opportunities to progress and even earn equity as the business grows. In this role, you will oversee daily yard operations, coordinate vehicle maintenance, organise stock and loading activities, liaise with transport and office teams, and complete local HGV deliveries when required. This is a highly autonomous position where you'll be trusted to solve problems, make decisions and keep the business moving efficiently.
This role would suit an Agricultural Operations Manager, Farm Manager, Agricultural Supervisor, Yard Manager, Agricultural Contractor, Livestock Manager or practical operations professional from a farming or rural background who enjoys getting stuck in and taking ownership.
