Peopleforce Recruitment are looking for an experienced Purchasing Operations Lead to join our team on a 12-month contract.

This is a key role supporting the smooth running of procurement operations, systems, reporting and governance within a pharmaceutical enviorment.

The Role

You will

  • Lead and oversee day-to-day purchasing and procurement operations.
  • Ensure processes meet company policies, controls and governance requirements.
  • Manage procurement systems, supplier data and reporting.
  • Analyse spend, supplier and savings information to identify opportunities.
  • Support contract administration, approvals and commercial documentation.
  • Build strong relationships across Procurement, Finance, Legal and the wider business.
  • Identify and deliver improvements to procurement processes and systems.
  • Provide guidance, training and support to stakeholders.

About You

We’re looking for someone who has

  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or business administration.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with business systems, data and reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of procurement governance, supplier management and contract administration.
  • Experience coordinating teams, projects or operational activities.
  • Ideally, experience working within a corporate or regulated environment.
