Peopleforce Recruitment are actively looking for a Handyman in Witney for one of our healthcare partners. As a Site Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial and dynamic role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our facilities. Your responsibilities will be diverse and responsive, with no two days being the same. This role requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can address a wide range of maintenance needs.
Location: Witney
Pay rate: £20.52 per hour
Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm
Responsibilities:
- General Site Maintenance: You will be responsible for a broad spectrum of hands-on maintenance tasks throughout the site. This includes but is not limited to:
- Performing minor repairs on building structures, including walls, doors, and windows.
- Conducting routine checks and light maintenance on plumbing and electrical systems.
- Installing and mounting various fixtures and equipment, such as televisions.
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Accurately logging and tracking all incoming maintenance requests.
- Maintaining an organized record of all maintenance logs to ensure a clear history of site upkeep.
- Manage and prioritise multiple tasks simultaneously based on urgency and importance.
- Adapt to a constantly changing work environment and handle unexpected issues with efficiency and professionalism.
- Communicate effectively with staff and other departments to understand and address their maintenance needs.
