Production Technician Night Shift – Witney Oxford

Peopleforce Recruitment are delighted to be supporting the expansion of a pharmaceutical and medical device global leader, in their search for a number of production technicians. As a production technician your role would work to support the production and manufacturing process of specific medical device products.

This role is an initial 6‑month contract and will be extended if things go well. It is a temp‑to‑permanent position, so after 1 year if you are excelling in the position you are likely to be offered the role permanently.

The shift pattern runs on a 4 on 4 off basis. This means that if you were to start work on a Monday, you would work up until Thursday, take Friday – Monday off and电脑版 work again on Tuesday. This includes weekends and bank holidays.

Nightshifts: 7 pm – 7 am. The pay rate for Nightshifts is £16.49 per hour.

We are looking for people who:

  • Have previous manufacturing experience – Good manufacturing practice is essential.
  • Are great at communicating and have clear handwriting for report writing.
  • Be team players with good organisational skills.
  • Have basic math and recording abilities.
  • Have a GCSE in maths and English (or equivalent).
  • Must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

Responsibilities

  • The set up and monitoring of machines – including noticing any issues and resolving these within a timely manner.
  • Using ç¿» HMI (Human‑Machine Interface) to monitor key parameters.
  • Communicating with colleagues in a clear manner to ensure an efficient, smoothly‑run operation.
  • Completing written and electronic reports.
  • Producing a clear hand over for the next shift staff to ensure a seamless changeover.
  • Successfully transfer materials to and from the clean room.
  • Perform other routine verantwortlich clerical teadm activities according to the organisation’s established procedures.
