With 17 years of experience, this company provides custom-designed Fire Alarms, CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and Perimeter Protection services. They are expanding their team and are looking for an Electrician's Mate to support their engineers in providing high-quality service and installations.
Job Overview: We are seeking a motivated Electrician's Mate with a strong installation background to support our Fire and Security Engineers in installing and maintaining security and fire systems. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their skills in the fire and security industry while working alongside experienced professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the installation and maintenance of fire alarms, CCTV systems, intruder alarms, and access control systems.
- Support engineers with the first and second fixing of security infrastructure.
- Assist with the installation of perimeter protection systems, gates, barriers, and access control.
- Carry out basic electrical work under supervision.
- Help with cable running, connecting devices, and system testing.
- Ensure that installations are completed on time and to a high standard.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Previous experience as an Electrician's Mate or in a similar installation support role.
- Familiarity with electrical installations, preferably in fire and security systems.
- Willingness to learn and develop skills in the fire and security industry.
- A valid driving license and willingness to travel nationwide.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently when required.
- You must have a little bit of experience with either fire alarm systems or a security system like CCTV, access control or intruder alarms.
