This is a rapidly expanding security technology company headquartered in Glasgow, and they are hiring for a CCTV Engineer in the Berkshire / West London area. The company specializes in advanced, AI-driven security solutions for construction sites, infrastructure, and high-value assets.
CCTV Engineer Role Overview
- Installation and Commissioning of CCTV systems to customer requirements
- Maintenance and fault fixing on CCTV Systems and document control for this
- Completing paperwork / Job Files and submitting to the engineering Manager / Head of logistics and or compliance on time with accurate information
- Responses to be attended and actioned within 1 hour of receiving activation and findings actions documented
- Identify risks whilst onsite and working with sales to offer the client the required coverage
- Drive and undertake routine maintenance of any vehicle provided to you by the company and complete monthly vehicle checklist
- Provide clear reports on new installations
Successful candidates should possess:
- Proficiency in installing, maintaining, and repairing CCTV systems, with knowledge of cabling, electrical components, and monitoring software.
- Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to clients and team members.
- Attention to detail to ensure all system components are correctly installed and functioning.
