The UK Operations Coordinator for HSTC SELT is responsible for ensuring smooth operations, overseeing test center activities, training staff, and enhancing the candidate experience across LanguageCert\’s SELT delivery sites. The role involves managing part-time staff at multiple UK locations and supporting business development initiatives. Regular travel across the UK and on-site presence at various High Stakes Test Centres (HSTCs) is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct regular visits to UK High Stakes Test Centres to ensure seamless operations and adherence to company processes.
  2. Collaborate with the Head Office Operations Team to introduce and improve operational processes and contingency plans.
  3. Support UK HSTC teams in maintaining high service standards and optimizing test day operations.
  4. Deliver in-person training to HSTC staff across the UK on test delivery procedures, security, customer service, and system updates.
  5. Manage line supervision of HSTC personnel.
  6. Coordinate staff scheduling based on operating days and times of HSTCs each month.
  7. Provide emergency cover at test centers when needed and assist in sourcing temporary replacements.
  8. Monitor the quality of the test center environment to ensure standards and branding compliance.
  9. Share insights from site visits with Business Development and Marketing teams to identify growth opportunities.
  10. Support outreach activities, such as distributing promotional materials to potential partners and clients.

What We Look For:

  • Bachelor\’s degree in business administration, operations management, or a related field (preferred).
  • 1-3 years of experience; experience in multicultural environments is a plus.
  • Fluent English (native-like or C2 level certification preferred). Certifications such as LanguageCert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL are advantageous.
  • Proficiency in IT tools like email, Word, and Excel; ECDL Advance certification desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with multiple teams, both in person and remotely.
  • Experience in customer service within education or exam sectors.
  • Proven staff management and development skills.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills, with good time management.
  • Attention to detail and strong record-keeping abilities.
  • Understanding of professional and ethical standards.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across the UK.
