PeopleCert is looking for a Head of UK who will be responsible to develop strong pipelines and deliver new business in their territory. Through an in-depth understanding of the PeopleCert Group and go-to-market strategy, the successful candidate will establish relationships with key decision makers of training organizations, universities, and corporations in their assigned territory.
As a Head of UK, your tasks will include the following:
- Overseeing all activities within UK to help expand the UK market.
- Connect with corporates, government entities and other professional organizations to help grow the awareness and the market size of PC products.
- Work closely with the PC partner organizations in UK and help them sell more of PRINCE 2 products.
- Forge and nurture high-impact relationships with senior decision-makers for promoting PRINCE 2 products.
- Build and manage a strong pipeline of leads and key accounts.
- Maintain and achieve maximum B2B market penetration of PRINCE 2 products, implementing a target-driven sales strategy.
- Coordinate various aspects of activity in tandem with the company's operations base and with respect to the local market conditions and culture.
- Plan and organise personal sales strategy by maximising the Return on Time Investment for the territory/segment.
- Monitor own progress against daily/weekly/monthly targets and report accordingly to the Headquarters.
- Facilitate and expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints, working closely with support teams.
- Participate in trade shows, language education events, and strategic forums across the region.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with global product and marketing teams to drive local adaptation and growth.
- Ensures their work and presence is aligned with company’s core values — quality, innovation, passion, integrity, clarity, and velocity.
What we look for:
- Post-graduate degree is a must in IT, preferably an MBA.
- Over 8-10 years' experience in driving new business development at corporate level, with proven track record in driving successful business development transactions.
- Awareness of PRINCE 2 is desirable but not an absolute must.
- A self-starter with an entrepreneurial bent of mind who can work across different cultures to help grow the market.
- Sound understanding of channel development, strategy selling principles, partnership strategy and consultative selling.
- Superb relationship, communication, and negotiation skills in working with executives, external constituents, and other business functions at all levels of seniority and different cultures.
- Exposure in the Education market, Consulting or Examination / Certification sectors in previous role(s) as well as prior experience in international corporate environments will be considered an asset.
- Preference will be given to candidates from IT Consulting and/or Technology backgrounds.
- Advanced written and spoken English (C2 level certification desired, LANGUAGECERT C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus).
- Advanced computer literacy is required. ECDL Advance level certification is desirable.
- Experience in Microsoft Dynamics CRM or similar software will be considered an asset.

Secure English Language Tests (SELTs)
Any person who is engaged by PeopleCert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by PeopleCert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.
- If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:
- A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check.
- Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence).
- HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC).
- Financial background check.
- Employment reference check.
- If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK. In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
