Love making spaces sparkle? Take pride in creating a great first impression? We'd love you on our team!

At Sarova Hotels, we're more than just a hotel group, we're a family. We believe great hospitality starts with great people, and we're passionate about creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported and appreciated.

We're looking for a Public Area Cleaner to join our friendly housekeeping team here at the Sir Chrisopher Wren Hotel in Windsor, and help keep our hotel looking its very best. From a welcoming lobby to spotless guest areas, you'll help create a fantastic first impression and a comfortable environment for everyone who walks through our doors.

Whether you're experienced in cleaning or completely new to hospitality, if you've got a great attitude and an eye for detail, we'd love to hear from you!

The Role

You'll help keep our hotel's public areas sparkling clean, tidy and welcoming throughout the day. From reception and corridors to guest washrooms and communal spaces, you'll make sure everything looks its best.

Shift times: Predominantly 8am – 4:30pm and 11am – 7:30pm, including weekends and bank holidays as part of the rota.

What we're looking for

Someone who's hardworking, reliable and takes pride in a job well done. You'll enjoy being active, working as part of a team and spotting those little details that make a big difference.

As you'll be working in guest areas, a friendly smile and helpful attitude are just as important as your cleaning skills.

No previous experience? No problem! We'll provide the training and support you need to succeed.

Why join Sarova Hotels?

Because you're not just another employee, you're part of the Sarova family!

We offer a welcoming, supportive team, opportunities to learn and grow, and a workplace where your hard work really is appreciated.

Our benefits include:

  • Stream – flexible access to your earned wages and financial coaching
  • A paid day off on your birthday
  • 24/7 Employee Assistance Programme for you and your family
  • Saroving Rewards for going the extra mile
  • Employee appreciation events
  • Family & Friends accommodation rates and employee food & beverage discounts across the group
  • Training, development and opportunities to grow your career

As our Public Area Cleaner, you'll have...

  • A positive, can-do attitude and a great work ethic
  • A keen eye for detail and pride in your work
  • The ability to work efficiently, independently and as part of a team
  • A friendly, helpful and professional approach with guests
  • The energy to enjoy a busy, physically active role
  • A willingness to learn and use cleaning equipment safely
  • Flexibility to work early and late shifts, weekends and bank holidays

What will you be doing as our Public Area Cleaner?

  • Keeping reception, lobbies, corridors, lifts and communal areas spotless and welcoming
  • Cleaning and regularly checking public washrooms, replenishing supplies as needed
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping and cleaning floors and surfaces
  • Emptying bins and keeping high-traffic areas clean and tidy
  • Spotting areas needing extra attention and responding promptly
  • Reporting maintenance issues, hazards or lost property
  • Using cleaning products and equipment safely, following COSHH and health and safety procedures
  • Working with your colleagues and helping guests with a friendly, professional approach
