We’re looking for an experienced Traffic Management Manager to take responsibility for leading and coordinating our traffic management projects. This is a key role where you’ll be ensuring our operations run safely, efficiently and to the highest standards, while supporting and developing your team to deliver excellent results.

Here are some of the activities you will be involved in…

  • Oversee the successful delivery of traffic management projects, ensuring progress is on track and risks are identified and addressed.
  • Maintain a strong focus on health and safety, ensuring protocols are followed without exception.
  • Prepare and present accurate project reports and documentation for stakeholders.
  • Manage the administration of timesheets for both direct employees and subcontractors.
  • Plan, manage and coordinate work schedules to meet operational requirements.
  • Issue and control order numbers for external traffic management hires, ensuring best value is achieved.
  • Ensure compliance with all internal procedures and external legislative requirements.
  • Lead, mentor and support your team through coaching, regular one-to-ones, performance management and annual appraisals.
  • Deliver team briefings and toolbox talks to reinforce a culture of safety, quality and accountability.
  • Monitor and maintain high standards of performance and quality within the team.

Requirements

We would love to hear from you if you have demonstrable experience in traffic management and project delivery, with a proven ability to lead teams and coordinate complex operations. You’ll be an organised and proactive manager with strong communication skills, able to balance priorities while always ensuring safety and compliance.

Additionally, you’ll be a supportive leader who enjoys mentoring others and creating an environment where your team can thrive. A full UK driving licence is required along with Lantra tickets and NRSWA accreditation.
