Shuttering Joiner
Location: Newark Site / Yard
Duration: Minimum 3–4 weeks — potential ongoing work at Peterborough upon completion
Hours: 7am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
Pay: CIS — to be discussed, weekly pay
Start: Immediate
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Shuttering Joiner to join our team, based at our Newark site and yard. Focused primarily on road form installation and general shuttering works. Consistent work with further opportunities available at Peterborough once this phase completes.
Key Duties
- Installation of road forms to required lines and levels
- Setting up, bracing and striking off shuttering systems
- General shuttering works across the site and yard
- Reading drawings and following specification requirements
- Ensuring all formwork is secure and fit for purpose
- Maintaining a safe and tidy work area at all times
- Working alongside groundworkers and concrete teams
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Shuttering Joiner — essential
- Confident installing road forms and general shuttering
- Able to work from drawings and set out accurately
- Valid CIS card — mandatory
- Own relevant hand tools and tape measure preferred
- Reliable attendance and able to work set hours
- Construction site safety awareness
