Clancy are working on an exciting framework in Newport, South Wales, where we will be constructing several Primary Substation enhancements for SSE Energy Solutions. As a result, we are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to package manage the Mechanical and Electrical works on site.
Here are just some of the activities you’ll be getting involved with:
- Review Design outputs
- Assist with the creation of RAMS/ITPS for related works
- Assist with material orders
- Supervise the team completing the works
- Substation earthing installation
- Supervise Panel wiring within substation control panels
- Installation and termination of secondary equipment such as commando sockets, isolators, lights, switches, sockets
- Interface with NGET, SSE DA, End Users
We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate the following:
- Bachelors or master’s in electrical engineering OR similar vocational experience
- Level 3 C&G 2357 Electrical Installation
- C&G 2339-17 or equivalent
- Level 3 Power Networks Craftsperson Qualification
- ECS Gold card
- C&G 2396 Inspection and Testing (advantageous)
- 18th Edition BS7671 wiring regulations
Any of the following qualifications would be advantageous:
- SSE Authorisations
- Emergency First Aid at Work
- EUSR
- PASMAL
- Ladder association Inspector & User
- Gas Safe
