We have an opportunity for an experienced LGV Mechanic to join our team in Harefield. This is a key role in keeping our fleet operational, ensuring our vehicles are safe, compliant and ready to support delivery across our projects. Working closely with the Workshop Manager, you’ll play an important part in maintaining high standards across our LGV fleet, helping minimise downtime and keeping our teams moving.
Here are some of the activities you will be involved in:
- Carrying out servicing, inspections and maintenance across our LGV fleet to a high standard
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs safely, efficiently and in line with regulations
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with compliance, safety and quality requirements
- Maintaining accurate records and completing all associated paperwork and digital updates
- Working alongside the wider Plant team to ensure planned maintenance schedules are achieved
- Supporting the smooth running of the workshop and contributing to continuous improvement
We would love to hear from you if you have solid experience working as an LGV Mechanic, with a strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair. You will hold an NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent) and a full UK driving licence. MOT certification would be advantageous. You’ll be someone who takes pride in their work, with a strong focus on safety, quality and attention to detail. You’ll be comfortable using systems to log and update records, and able to work both independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop environment.
