Working alongside an experienced Team Leader, you’ll gain further exposure across the wastewater and drainage sector while being part of a supportive and knowledgeable team environment. No two days are quite the same, and the role offers a good mix of problem‑solving, teamwork and physical activity.
Here are some of the activities you will be involved with:
- Supporting the identification and repair of wastewater and drainage network defects
- Assisting with investigations into blockages, flooding and network issues
- Carrying out inspections and ensuring equipment is safe, operational and fit for use
- Working in line with risk assessments and safe systems of work
- Supporting reactive and planned maintenance activities across the network
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health, safety and environmental standards
- Working closely with operational teams to deliver a high standard of service
We would love to hear from you if you have previous wastewater or drainage experience, along with a good all‑round understanding of the utilities, construction or water industry. A practical approach, strong work ethic and willingness to work outdoors in varying conditions are all important for success in this role. A full UK driving licence is essential, and a Streetworks (NRSWA) qualification would be highly beneficial.
