We have an opportunity for a Clean Water Network Operative to join our team supporting water network operations across Devon and Cornwall. This role is well suited to someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and is comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
You will be paired with an experienced Team Leader who will support you in developing your skills and knowledge within the clean water sector, helping you build a strong understanding of water network maintenance and repair. This is a physically active role where you will play an important part in keeping essential water services running safely and efficiently for our customers.
Here are some of the activities you will get involved in:
- Locating and repairing water mains defects
- Checking equipment and systems are fit for use, maintained and fully operational
- Ensure strict adherence to all Clancy Group health, safety and environmental regulation
We would love to hear from you if you can demonstrate:
- Previous experience working on water network repairs with a good all-round knowledge of the construction or water industry would be advantageous.
- You will be reliable, safety conscious and comfortable working as part of a team in a physically demanding, outdoor environment.
- A full, clean UK driving licence is essential, and NRSWA accreditation would be highly beneficial.
