Are you an experienced workshop plant fitter with a passion for keeping construction equipment running smoothly? If so, look no further as we're looking for a dedicated individual to join our team and help maintain and repair a diverse range of construction plant.
The Role
As a valued member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in servicing, repairing, and maintaining various assets within the Plant team.
Responsibilities
- Providing top‑notch customer service.
- Servicing and maintaining all company plant assets, including towable equipment.
- Ensuring timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Collaborating with the workshop supervisor.
- Completing all necessary paperwork accurately.
- Assisting other members of the Clancy Plant team.
This list isn't exhaustive, and you may be called upon for additional duties as needed. While primarily based in the workshop, you may also be required to attend breakdowns on‑site in emergency situations.
Qualifications
- An NVQ Level 2 or 3 City & Guilds qualification, or equivalent and previous experience in plant maintenance is essential.
- Self motivation and excellent communication skills are important, along with being a problem‑solving whizz who has a knack for diagnosing faults.
- A full UK clean driving licence is essential.
