Surrounded by eleven acres of countryside and wooded valleys, Dalhousie Castle embodies the timeless charm of a storybook fairytale.

Food & Beverage Duty Manager
Dalhousie Castle
Dalhousie Castle has entered an exciting new chapter. Following an extensive refurbishment and the reopening of the hotel six months ago, we are now looking for an enthusiastic and driven Food & Beverage Duty Manager to join our leadership team and help shape the next stage of our journey.
With our newly refurbished hotel, evolving Food & Beverage offering and ambitious plans for the future, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make their mark.
As part of our Food & Beverage leadership team, you will work across all of our outlets, supporting the day-to-day operation while helping us continue to develop our concepts, our standards and, most importantly, our people.
The Role
As Food & Beverage Duty Manager, you will be a visible and hands-on leader, supporting the team across our F&B outlets and ensuring our guests receive an exceptional experience.
You'll play an important role in creating the culture we want to build at Dalhousie Castle, one where our team feel supported, motivated and proud of the service they deliver.
Working closely with the wider F&B leadership team, you will:

  • Lead and support the F&B team across all outlets, ensuring consistently high standards of service.
  • Take responsibility for the smooth running of the operation during your shifts.
  • Coach, develop and motivate team members, helping them build their skills and confidence.
  • Create a positive, supportive and enjoyable working environment.
  • Help establish and embed the standards and ways of working within our newly refurbished operation.
  • Contribute ideas and support the continued development of our Food & Beverage concepts and guest offering.
  • Work closely with the wider hotel team to deliver a seamless guest experience.
  • Be confident dealing with guest feedback, queries and operational challenges.
  • Identify opportunities to improve our service, processes and overall operation.
  • Lead by example and be prepared to get involved wherever needed.

About You
We're looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality, enjoys working with people and wants to be part of building something special.
You may already be working as a Duty Manager, Assistant Manager, Supervisor or in a similar F&B leadership role and be ready for your next challenge.
You'll ideally have:

  • Previous experience within a busy Food & Beverage environment.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  • A genuine passion for delivering great guest experiences.
  • The ability to motivate, coach and develop a team.
  • A positive, proactive and hands-on approach.
  • Confidence working in a fast-paced environment and making decisions under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high standards.
  • The flexibility to work across different F&B outlets and support the wider operation.
  • A desire to contribute ideas and help shape the future of the business.

Why Dalhousie Castle?
This is a particularly exciting time to join us.
Six months into our new chapter, we are continuing to establish and develop our Food & Beverage operation following the Castle's extensive refurbishment. We're looking for someone who will help us continually improve, develop our team and evolve what we offer our guests.
You'll become part of the leadership team at a truly unique Scottish destination, with the opportunity to make a visible impact on our people, our operation and our guest experience.
If you're an ambitious hospitality professional who wants to help shape the future of Food & Beverage at Dalhousie Castle, we'd love to hear from you.
