We have an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our team supporting the delivery of a major programme of works for South West Water. Operating in a client‑side capacity, you’ll be employed by Clancy while working across both Clancy and Glanville, acting on behalf of both organisations to oversee the successful delivery of 71km of mains renewals. This is a key role focused on coordination, visibility and performance — ensuring delivery remains on track, stakeholders stay aligned and the programme runs efficiently.

Here are some of the activities you will be involved with:

  • Overseeing programme delivery, ensuring progress is tracked and aligned to agreed targets
  • Leading on client reporting, providing clear and accurate performance updates
  • Running and coordinating governance and progress meetings
  • Producing and maintaining dashboards and reporting packs
  • Working closely with delivery teams to monitor progress and identify risks or issues
  • Acting as a key point of contact between Clancy, Glanville and the client
  • Supporting target setting and driving performance across the programme
  • Ensuring clear communication and effective stakeholder engagement at all levels

We would love to hear from you if you have experience operating at Senior Project Manager level, ideally within utilities, water or infrastructure environments. Strong stakeholder management and the ability to operate in a client‑facing role are essential, along with excellent communication and organisational skills. Experience in reporting, running meetings and presenting performance data is important, as is the ability to maintain momentum across a fast‑paced programme. Additionally, a proactive approach, commercial awareness and the ability to bring structure and clarity to complex delivery environments will set you up for success in this role.
