If you like making things easier for others, then we’ll have a lot in common! We have an opportunity for a Contract Support Administrator to join our team working on HS2 in Aylesbury. This role plays a key part in supporting both commercial and operational teams, including plant coordination and general contract support, helping to ensure the efficient delivery of one of the UK’s most significant infrastructure programmes. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a major national infrastructure project, working in a fast‑paced environment where your organisation, communication and attention to detail will directly support project delivery, commercial performance and operational efficiency.

Here are some of the activities you will be involved in:

  • Administering contract documentation across HS2 works, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Providing general contract and project support across commercial and operational teams
  • Coordinating plant requirements, including tracking availability, allocations and utilisation
  • Assisting commercial colleagues with cost tracking, purchase orders and invoice reconciliation
  • Processing applications for payment and maintaining associated project records
  • Preparing reports, data and performance information for commercial and operational use
  • Maintaining accurate records of variations, instructions and contractual correspondence
  • Liaising with site, plant and commercial teams to ensure smooth flow of information
  • Managing subcontractor administration and compliance documentation
  • Ensuring all processes are carried out in line with company procedures and contractual requirements

We would love to hear from you if you have experience in a similar role e.g. contract administration, project support or commercial support within the construction, civil engineering or infrastructure sectors. You are highly organised, a great communicator, detail focused and confident working with data, documentation and deadlines. Experience with plant coordination, procurement support or working closely with site teams would be advantageous. Due to the location a full UK driving licence will be required.
