Summary of Position
In coordination with USNH ET&S Learning Space
Technologies Service Line teammates, this person
will provide operational maintenance,
troubleshooting, and incident resolution of
classroom audiovisual systems. Some tools to
accomplish this include maintaining a maintains
private subnet of remote audiovisual network
controllable system devices across the Plymouth
campus. Position provides Tier III troubleshooting for
incident and problem resolution of classroom and
conference room audiovisual technologies and
equipment, both onsite and remote. Responsible for
pushing firmware updates and control system
updates; maintaining known issues and versioning
logs. Responsible for interacting with vendors,
maintaining relationships. Consults with clients
(faculty, staff, students) to provide needs analysis for
AV (sound, projection, lighting and video streaming)
for classes, live and virtual events. Serves as the lead
technician on site for event AV. Installs new and
redesigned classroom and conference room
audiovisual systems. Develops testing plans and
oversee testing. Makes recommendations regarding
purchases of audiovisual system equipment needs,
configurations, supplies.
Maintains loaner service, coordinate loans, receipt of
loans, check-in, check out. Maintains database of
asset/ equipment inventory; e.g. loaner pool, special
event equipment and classroom inventories. Serves
as lead Incident Management coordinator- Monitor
current and past trouble tickets, assign, close,
resolve, elevate as needed; grouping related
incidents as Problems (currently TeamDynamix).
Assists in the development and training of PSU
Technical Services Student staff, Provides mentoring
and job shadow opportunities for student
technicians.

3 years of Audiovisual experience. Must be able to lift equipment up to 40 pounds. Must be able to be certified as a defensive driver of University vehicles DDC -4.
Additional Preferred Qualifications
CTS Certifications through the AVIXA Trade Organization preferred. Crestron, Inc. Certifications also preferred.

- In coordination with USNH Service Line teammates, maintain private subnet of remote audiovisual network controllable system devices across campus using network management software (currently Crestron ToolBox, InfoBlox, Dante Domain manager and Crestron Fusion).
- Provide Tier III troubleshooting for incident and problem resolution of classroom and conference room audiovisual technologies and equipment, both onsite and remote.
- Push firmware updates and control system updates; maintain known issues and versioning logs.
- Interact with vendors to resolve problems and stay abreast of new updates, issues, and vendor roadmaps.

- Consult with clients to provide needs analysis for AV (sound, projection, lighting and video streaming) for live and virtual events.
- Serve as the lead technician on site for event AV including sound and speech reinforcement, projection and direct view digital displays, videoconferencing facilitation, seamless video switching, theatrical lighting, playback system programing and operation, networking for system synchronization and control.
