GE Metalcraft is entering an exciting new phase of growth and is looking for a highly organised, proactive and adaptable Business Support Administrator to work closely with the company directors and help support the next stage of our journey. Currently comprising two directors and three employees, we expect the team to double in size over the next 12 months as we continue investing in our people, systems, facilities, equipment and future opportunities. This is a varied role at the heart of a small but ambitious business. You'll support the directors across finance, administration, HR, operations, and project coordination, helping build the foundations for the next stage of growth. We're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes ownership, and is happy to get involved wherever support is needed. As a growing business, no two days are the same, and the role will evolve as the business continues to grow, creating opportunities for increased responsibility and career progression.

About GE Metalcraft: GE Metalcraft is a well-established business with a reputation for quality craftsmanship, technical expertise, and creative design. Our ambition is to evolve from a bespoke fabrication business into a design-led manufacturing and luxury outdoor living brand. As part of this vision, we plan to develop an invitation-only Showhouse and Design Estate, showcasing our products and designs in a real-world environment. The Role: You will work closely with the directors to support the day-to-day running of the business across a range of activities. While this is not an exhaustive list, responsibilities will include:

  • Sales invoicing, credit control, and purchase ledger management
  • Bank reconciliations and VAT submission preparation
  • Payroll administration and timesheet coordination
  • Business Administration
  • Taking minutes during meetings, document management and record keeping
  • Managing emails and telephone calls
  • Diary management, travel and event coordination
  • HR coordination, including recruitment, onboarding and training administration
  • Project & Customer Support
  • Job costing, preparing quotations and updating project database
  • Supporting coordination between office, site teams, suppliers, and customers
  • Assisting with project and operational planning and reporting
  • Attending occasional meetings and site visits with the directors

Starting salary in the region of £30,000 to £35,000 depending on experience. Permanent full-time contract, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm. Flexibility available with start/finish times - to be agreed at outset. Annual leave increments with length of service, plus your Birthday off. Modern office environment in Pandy Tudur, Conwy County (between Llanrwst and Abergele).

About You: You’ll be organised, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving business. We're looking for someone who:

  • Has experience in either business support, office management, operations, project coordination, executive assistant, or similar roles, preferably gained in a small business
  • Has finance administration or bookkeeping experience
  • Is highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Communicates confidently and professionally
  • Takes ownership and adopts a proactive approach
  • Is proficient using digital systems and comfortable learning new software
  • Can work independently while contributing to a small team
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where flexibility, initiative and a willingness to help are highly valued
