Senior Marketing Manager – Alcohol Sector
Location: Surrey
Salary: £60,000 – £65,000 p/a(doe) PLUS Car Allowance
An established client within the premium alcohol sector is seeking a Senior Marketing Manager to lead customer marketing across Europe, Middle Eastern and American markets.
We are particularly interested in applicants who have experience in the Spirits or Beer sector.
This role is a unique opportunity to join a fast-moving and globally recognised premiumalcohol brand. Putting customer engagement at the heart of everything they do, this role is pivotal to the company success.
Please note we are looking for candidates who have the following experience:
- Solid and proven experience of On-Trade environments
- Previous experience of working in a marketing role within the FMCG or alcohol industry
Role Highlights
- Lead the creation and execution of regional marketing plans for the On-Trade and EMEA markets, aligning local needs with global brand strategy
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with On-Trade partners through customisedmarketing initiatives that support their commercial objectives
- Develop and implement full-cycle marketing campaigns aimed at increasing brand visibility, driving sales, and enhancing customer engagement
- Use consumer insights, trade data, and competitor analysis to inform marketing strategies and identify opportunities for category growth
- Work closely with sales teams to ensure marketing efforts are aligned with commercial goals and contribute to revenue generation
- Collaborate with digital and content teams to adapt messaging and campaigns for On-Trade audiences, enhancing digital brand presence
- Design and deliver brand training for trade partners and their teams to support knowledge, advocacy, and effective brand representation
- Plan and execute trade events and sponsorships that elevate brand positioning and deliver strong return on brand investment
- Manage the marketing budget for On-Trade and EMEA initiatives, ensuring efficient allocation and tracking of ROI
- Monitor marketing performance through KPIs, providing analysis and recommendations to improve effectiveness of future campaigns
- Lead and support a team of customer marketers, fostering a high-performance, creative, and collaborative team culture
- Oversee brand activity and support new product development within the On-Trade channel, ensuring commercial and strategic alignment
About You
- Strong proven experience in customer, trade, or brand marketing within the FMCG, beverage, oralcohol industry
- Solid understanding of On-Trade environments (e.g., hotels, bars, restaurants) and their commercial dynamics
- Proven ability to execute marketing strategies across diverse regions and cultures
- Experience managing multi-market campaigns with measurable business impact
