About the Company
I am currently recruiting for a Finance Manager for a highly respected and award-winning creative business. This business creates beautiful artwork and furniture with operations around the world. At present, our client does not have the capacity to sponsor!
About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end financial function for the US and UK operations. Additionally, you will be responsible for FP&A, balance sheet reconciliations, and providing feedback on process improvements regarding internal controls and procedures.
Duties and responsibilities
- Managing the end-to-end financial functions for the UK and US operations.
- Responsible for FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Managing and maintaining sales ledgers, purchase ledgers, bank reconciliations, and credit control procedures.
- Submitting financials regularly to the internal accountants in both the UK and the US.
- Handling monthly payroll, VAT, and HMRC matters.
- Producing quarterly management reports and providing necessary commentary.
- Managing company cash flow and budgeting.
Ideal Candidate
- Must be fully qualified (ACCA) with 3 years of UK based finance experience.
- Experience with FP&A.
- Industry experience working within either an in-house creative business, Furniture Retail, Products goods and service would be advantageous.
- Attention to detail!
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
