About the Role
Our client is actively recruiting for an Accounts Legal Cashier to join the team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the Accounts department with completing various financial tasks as well as supporting the firm and their clientele with answering general financial queries.
Duties for this role include, but are not limited to,
- Client billing
- Maintaining accurate ledger postings for clients and internal accounts
- BACS / CHAPS payments
- Bank account reconciliations as well as credit card reconciliations
- Accounts payable management. This includes checking invoices and ensuring on-time payment.
- Purchase ledger management
- Credit control
- Dealing with dormant balances
- General accounts administration
- Collaborate with fee earners to ensure balances are up to date and accurate
Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience as a Legal Cashier
- Previous experiencewith legal client billing
- Experience with SRA Account rules
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience with assistingwith the annual audit process
