Overview
Lead complex civil engineering projects that help power the UK's low-carbon future. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in delivering critical infrastructure within the UK's nuclear energy sector. Working on technically challenging projects, you will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality delivery. Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of civil engineering projects from concept through to completion
- Define and implement project execution strategies aligned with agreed objectives
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement and construction
- Ensure projects are delivered safely and in line with regulatory and company standards
- Manage project schedules, budgets and risk management activities
- Monitor performance using modern project controls and reporting tools
- Maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders and project teams
- Prepare project documentation, reports and progress updates
- Ensure compliance with safety cases, quality standards and CDM regulations
- Support continuous improvement and knowledge sharing across project teams
Qualifications and Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Chartered status or working towards chartership preferred
- Strong experience delivering projects in highly regulated environments
- Understanding of engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning
- Knowledge of safety cases, HSE legislation and compliance frameworks
- Experience managing multidisciplinary project teams
- Strong commercial awareness including cost control and planning
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capability
- Experience within power generation or nuclear sites beneficial
