Lead the safe and seamless movement of thousands on one of the UK’s most complex infrastructure projects. This is a high-impact opportunity to take ownership of off-site service delivery within a major nuclear construction environment. You will play a vital role in ensuring safe, efficient transport, parking, and facilities operations for a large workforce, while shaping policies and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day delivery of critical site support services for a workforce of approx. 16,000
- Manage a major service contract across its full lifecycle, valued at approx. GBP80m
- Ensure full compliance with statutory, regulatory, and health and safety standards
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and operational strategies
- Act as the single point of contact for transport and parking across associated sites
- Build strong relationships with contract partners and internal stakeholders
- Monitor service performance and implement improvement plans
- Conduct regular health, safety, and engagement inspections and reviews
- Support procurement and infrastructure changes with detailed specifications
- Drive a collaborative 'one team' approach to service delivery
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven experience in a service supply or facilities/logistics environment
- Leadership experience in a service-led operational setting
- Experience working in high-security or controlled-access environments
- Strong knowledge of health and safety compliance and standards
- Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience
- Experience managing budgets and large-scale contracts
- IOSH accreditation or equivalent
- Behavioural Safety Programme certification
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Resilient, adaptable, and confident in fast-paced environments
