This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised Junior Project Engineer to join a growing renewable energy business delivering innovative solar PV projects. You will gain hands‑on exposure across live projects, work alongside experienced professionals, and build valuable technical and commercial skills within a supportive environment focused on development and progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of renewable energy and electrical projects from enquiry to completion.
  • Prepare quotations, estimates, and technical proposals.
  • Coordinate site surveys, installations, deliveries, and access equipment.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and installers.
  • Maintain project trackers, CRM systems, and compliance records.
  • Assist with procurement, material ordering, and delivery tracking.
  • Prepare commissioning documents, O&M manuals, and handover packs.
  • Support DNO/ENA applications and project compliance activities.
  • Attend site visits to develop technical knowledge of renewable systems.
  • Assist with invoicing, project costing, and tracking additional works.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 including Excel and SharePoint.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks across live projects.
  • Professional and customer-focused approach.
  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Engineering, construction, renewables, or electrical background desirable.
