This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and organised Junior Project Engineer to join a growing renewable energy business delivering innovative solar PV projects. You will gain hands‑on exposure across live projects, work alongside experienced professionals, and build valuable technical and commercial skills within a supportive environment focused on development and progression.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of renewable energy and electrical projects from enquiry to completion.
- Prepare quotations, estimates, and technical proposals.
- Coordinate site surveys, installations, deliveries, and access equipment.
- Liaise professionally with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and installers.
- Maintain project trackers, CRM systems, and compliance records.
- Assist with procurement, material ordering, and delivery tracking.
- Prepare commissioning documents, O&M manuals, and handover packs.
- Support DNO/ENA applications and project compliance activities.
- Attend site visits to develop technical knowledge of renewable systems.
- Assist with invoicing, project costing, and tracking additional works.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 including Excel and SharePoint.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks across live projects.
- Professional and customer-focused approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
