Project Controls Engineer - Nuclear Energy
Take the lead on project controls for a nationally significant programme and help shape the future of the nuclear energy sector.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Controls professional to join a high-performing team delivering complex infrastructure projects. You will work across cost, schedule, risk, change and performance, providing the insights that drive effective decision-making and successful project delivery.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate project controls across cost, schedule, risk and change management.
- Produce performance reports, schedule updates, forecasts and variance analysis.
- Liaise with supply chain partners to assure project controls information.
- Deliver high-quality month-end performance reporting and reviews.
- Support senior stakeholders with clear project performance insights.
- Drive continuous improvement and promote project controls best practice.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Project Controls Engineer on major infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge across cost, planning, risk, change and performance management.
- Sound understanding of Earned Value Management.
- Experience managing stakeholders within complex matrix organisations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
- Degree qualified or equivalent in Engineering, Construction, Project Management, Finance, Business or a related discipline.
- Nuclear, energy or major infrastructure experience is desirable.
- Experience with Power BI, NEC/FIDIC contracts or project controls systems is advantageous.
