Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and promote a positive HSE culture across site project teams
  • Ensure compliance with HSE regulations, standards and procedures
  • Develop and implement project‑specific HSE documentation
  • Monitor and report on HSE performance and improvement initiatives
  • Support contractor selection, onboarding and compliance monitoring
  • Conduct site audits, inspections and HSE walks
  • Investigate incidents and support reporting processes
  • Deliver inductions and HSE training across project teams
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on all HSE matters
  • Collaborate with wider safety and environmental teams

Qualifications & Requirements

  • HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline
  • NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum)
  • Strong knowledge of CDM Regulations
  • IOSH membership (or working towards)
  • Experience in construction, engineering or nuclear environments
  • Strong understanding of HSE management systems
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to influence and drive behavioural safety
  • Experience auditing and improving HSE performance
  • Proactive and detail‑oriented approach
