Key Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial and procurement strategy delivery across major projects.
  • Manage complex commercial negotiations and public sector competitions.
  • Develop, evaluate, and implement major business investment cases.
  • Coordinate and influence internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with project teams on all commercial and procurement activities.
  • Define and implement commercial principles across contractual processes.
  • Plan and manage cross-functional readiness and consistency reviews.
  • Oversee commercial matters relating to procurement regulations and nuclear requirements.
  • Support nuclear safety, quality, and compliance objectives.
  • Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Commercial Manager on major projects.
  • Strong knowledge of FIDIC and NEC3/NEC4 contracts.
  • Understanding of UK law and its commercial implications.
  • Expertise in procurement and contract management.
  • Experience managing risk, change, and claims.
  • Ability to develop and deliver commercial strategies.
  • Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Excellent commercial judgement and problem-solving ability.
  • Membership of RICS, CICES, CIOB, CIPS, or equivalent is desirable.
