Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and produce commissioning documentation and technical reports
  • Conduct pre-commissioning activities including inspections and testing
  • Lead Factory Acceptance Tests and equipment qualification processes
  • Prepare commissioning test packages, instructions, and logic diagrams
  • Execute on-site commissioning activities across project phases
  • Ensure delivery against commissioning milestones and deadlines
  • Apply commissioning systems, tools, and methodologies effectively
  • Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary commissioning teams
  • Perform risk assessments including HAZOP and HAZID studies
  • Work within strict regulatory and safety-driven environments

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commissioning Engineer, ideally within nuclear
  • Strong knowledge of commissioning methodologies and best practices
  • Experience working in highly regulated industries
  • Understanding of risk management processes (RA, HAZOP, HAZID)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills
  • Ability to lead and influence multi-disciplinary teams
  • Relevant technical qualification (NVQ, HNC, HND or equivalent)
  • Degree in engineering discipline (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
  • Commitment to continuous professional development
