People Station is a fast-moving people consultancy helping scaling businesses navigate acquisitions, integrations and growth by building the people infrastructure that makes scale work.
We’re hiring a People Ops & Operations Coordinator — a coordinator-level role that blends:
- Customer People Ops execution (behind-the-scenes delivery + coordination across multiple clients)
- People Station internal operations + tooling (including being a “super admin” across HRIS platforms and supporting Platform CTRL)
Reporting line: Founder, CEO
Dotted line: Senior Consultants
Our values (EPIC): Encourage • Progress • Inspire • Care
What you’ll actually be doing:
- Run the delivery engine: trackers, actions, follow-ups, deadlines, document hygiene.
- People Ops execution: onboarding, changes, leavers, probation tracking, contracts/letters, payroll inputs/coordination, keeping records clean.
- ER + recruitment coordination: coordinate steps, paperwork, timelines, scheduling, and keep processes moving; escalate high-risk/complex matters.
- HRIS super admin: access/permissions, basic configuration, workflows/templates, data hygiene, and system documentation (People Station + client platforms as appropriate).
- HRIS projects: support implementation/optimisation work (requirements, configuration tasks, UAT coordination, comms, post-go-live tidy-up).
- Platform CTRL admin support: content libraries/templates, structure/tagging, user setup, tracking bugs/requests, and light release coordination.
- Make things more efficient: build repeatable SOPs/checklists, simplify workflows, and reduce any memory-based delivery.
What it’s like working here:
This is a fast-paced, context-switching environment where no day is the same. You’ll thrive if you:
- Are comfortable with ambiguity and can move work forward without waiting to be told.
- Love process and get real satisfaction from making things clearer, simpler and more efficient.
- Have a proactive mindset, strong organisation, and pride in follow-through.
What we’re looking for:
Essential:
- 1–3+ years in a coordination / operations / HR admin / People Ops support role (or equivalent).
- Strong organisation and attention to detail.
- Clear written communication (you can write crisp updates).
- Comfortable with systems (or learn fast): HRIS tools + Notion/Google Workspace/Microsoft tools.
Desirable:
- Exposure to onboarding/leavers/contracts/ER admin processes.
- Experience in consultancy / agency / multi-client environments.
- Evidence of improving a process (and the outcome).
