People Solutions are currently recruiting for a 3.5 Tonne Driver to join our well-established client based in Stourbridge. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression.

Shifts:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Start time: 8:30am
  • Minimum eight hours paid per shift

Rates of Pay:

  • £12.21 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Drive 3.5 tonne vehicles safely and efficiently to various destinations
  • Assist with loading the vehicle before departure
  • Deliver to homes, construction sites, and commercial premises
  • Handle goods manually as required
  • Carry out local and long-distance runs
  • Complete up to 5 drops per day
  • Communicate effectively with production and dispatch teams
  • Accurately complete all relevant delivery paperwork

Essential Skills:

  • Valid UK Category B (car/van) Driving Licence
  • Minimum of 12 months' experience driving Category B vehicles
  • No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsements)
  • Strong knowledge of the UK road network
  • Good level of written and spoken English
  • Reliable, punctual, and organised
  • Understanding of UK traffic laws and delivery procedures
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Desirable Experience:

  • Previous commercial driving experience
  • Prior experience in multi-drop delivery work

Training:

Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout.
