People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Temporary Customer Service Administrator to join our well-established client based in Wigan. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work through until September, full training and the opportunity to join a busy and supportive warehouse and logistics operation.
This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a Customer Service Administrator, Warehouse Administrator, Logistics Administrator, Sales Support Administrator, Account Coordinator or Transport Administrator.
Rates of Pay:
- £14.00 per hour
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday
- 08:00 – 16:30
Contract Length:
- Ongoing until September
- Please note annual leave cannot be taken during this assignment period

Day-to-Day Duties:
- Processing and preparing daily order documentation for picking, dispatch and delivery
- Managing incoming and outgoing emails to ensure timely and accurate communication
- Maintaining accurate and organised records and documentation
- Monitoring short-term order changes and communicating updates to warehouse, transport and logistics teams
- Acting as a key point of contact for existing customers
- Handling incoming calls relating to orders, queries, complaints and returns
- Processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Liaising with transport, warehouse and buying departments to ensure orders are fulfilled correctly
- Providing professional and responsive customer support at all times
Essential Skills:
- Previous experience within warehouse administration, logistics administration, customer service or sales support
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Confident communication skills with a professional telephone manner
- Ability to manage both administration and customer-facing responsibilities
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
- Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced environment
Training Provided:
- Full systems and site training provided upon starting
- Ongoing support throughout the assignment
