People Solutions are currently recruiting for a CNC Milling Operative to join our well-established client based in Skelmersdale.
You will be responsible for programming, setting and operating a CNC milling machine, machining a variety of products.
Shift
Monday - Friday: 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 rotating shift
Rates of Pay
£18.00 - £20.00 per hour DOE

Day-to-Day Duties
- Set, operate, and adjust CNC machines to produce components in line with engineering drawings and production requirements.
- Work closely with the Production Manager to prioritise jobs, meet daily production targets, and support the smooth running of the department.
- Liaise directly with Engineers and the Drawing Office to clarify machining methods, tolerances, and design intent.
- Design, set up, and manufacture fixtures and work-holding solutions to support efficient and repeatable machining processes.
- Select, prepare, and change cutting tools as required.
