People Solutions are currently recruiting for a MIG Welder Fabricator to join our well-established client based in Walsall on a temporary to permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, stable weekday shifts, long-term career opportunities and a relaxed, supportive workshop environment.
This role would suit applicants who have previously worked as a MIG Welder, Fabricator, Fabrication Welder, Metal Worker or Sheet Metal Fabricator.
Rates of Pay:
- £14.00 – £16.00 per hour
Shifts:
- Monday to Friday
- 07:00 – 16:30
- Some flexibility available

Day-to-Day Duties:
- Performing high-quality MIG welding
- Reading and accurately interpreting technical drawings
- Fabricating and assembling metal components
- Handling and storing materials safely within the workshop
- Carrying out routine maintenance on machinery and tools
- Collaborating with team members to resolve production issues
- Using measurements and calculations to ensure accurate production
- Ensuring all work is completed in line with health and safety procedures
- Supporting general workshop duties where required
Essential Skills:
- Previous MIG welding and fabrication experience
- Strong mechanical knowledge
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Experience using hand tools and workshop equipment
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
- Proactive approach to problem-solving
