VAN DRIVER – NIGHTS Join a leading logistics operation offering great pay, flexible shifts, and long-term stability. People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our well-established client based in the Paisley area . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, consistent night shifts, and the chance to grow and progress within a respected business. Shifts: Any four nights out of seven on a rota basis – Start times from 6:00PM Pay Rate: £12.86 – £16.72 per hour Why Choose This Role? Your benefits as a Van Driver are: Guaranteed ongoing work – rota issued weekly in advance Opportunity for a permanent position for the right candidates Minimum of five hours paid per shift Weekly pay – PAYE vacancy (holidays accrued separately) Immediate starts available Site parking and easy motorway access Canteen and vending facilities on-site Paid training and induction provided Day-to-Day Duties: Your duties as a Van Driver will be: Assist with loading and unloading of goods at the start and end of each shift Deliver stock from the warehouse to stores and collect returns (typically 6–8 stores per shift) Drive safely and efficiently to meet delivery schedules Complete vehicle checks before and after each shift Report any vehicle defects or maintenance issues promptly Provide excellent customer service at all delivery locations Work any four nights from seven – rota provided in advance Essential Skills: The skills required to be a Van Driver are: Valid UK Category B Driving Licence (held for a minimum of two years) Aged 21 or over (for insurance purposes) No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD, or CD convictions) Reliable, punctual, and customer focused Good communication skills, both written and verbal Desirable Experience: Previous commercial or multi-drop driving experience would be beneficial Training Provided: Paid site induction following successful theory and driving assessment Minimum of three training shifts alongside an experienced driver Apply Now: If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information.
