Job Description

VAN DRIVER – Coalville, East MidlandsPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Coalville, East Midlands .This role would suitable applicants who have previously worked as a Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver or Courier .Shifts:• Monday to Friday• 06:00 – 15:00Rates of Pay:• £12.75 per hour• Temp-to-perm opportunityBenefits:As a Van Driver , you will receive:• Excellent hourly rates• Temp-to-perm opportunity• Ongoing work• Weekly pay• Training provided• Immediate starts availableDay-to-Day Duties:As a Van Driver , your duties will include:• Minimal handball involved• Operating and driving a van safely and efficiently• Carrying out daily pre-shift and post-shift vehicle checks• Ensuring all loads are secured correctly before transportation• Adhering to all road traffic laws and transport regulations• Communicating effectively with transport teams and customers• Reporting vehicle defects and maintenance issues promptly• Supporting loading and unloading duties where required• Heavy lifting may be involved depending on deliveriesEssential Skills:To be successful as a Van Driver , you will need:• A valid UK Category B Licence• A minimum of 12 months' driving experience• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements• No major endorsement codes• A good level of spoken and written English• Excellent timekeeping and reliability• A good understanding of road traffic laws and driver regulations• Strong communication skills• Physical fitness due to the nature of the roleDesirable Experience:• Previous commercial driving experience• Multi-drop delivery experience advantageousTraining:• Industry-related training provided• Ongoing support and development throughout your assignmentApply:If you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity as a Van Driver , apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.People Solutions do not charge candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment processTPBN1_UKTJ
