VAN DRIVERTUESDAY – SATURDAY: 01:00 – 03:00 START TIMES£13.30 PER HOURPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for a Van Driver to join our well-established client based in Coventry, West Midlands.This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.BenefitsAs a Van Driver you will receive the following benefits:Excellent hourly ratesWeekly payFree site parkingTraining providedImmediate startsEmployee Well-being ProgramRates of Pay£13.30 per hourDay to Day DutiesYour duties as a 3.5 Tonne Van Driver will involve but not be limited to:Multidrop deliveries to butchers, shops and restaurants.Typically 8-20 drops per shiftOperate and drive various 3.5 Tonne vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from various delivery locationsPerform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspectionsEnsure all cargo is loaded and secured properlyAdhere to traffic laws and regulationsReport any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to managementAssist with loaded and unloading of goods as neededComplete any necessary paperworkEssential SkillsAs a Van Driver you will need to:Hold a valid UK Category B Driving LicenceHave a minimum of twelve months experience driving Category B vehiclesNo more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codesMust be able to speak and read a good level of EnglishPunctuality and excellent time keeping skillsHave a good understanding of traffic laws and regulationsEffective communication skillsDesirable ExperienceExperience driving any commercial vehiclesPrevious experience conducting refrigerated deliveriesPrevious experience conducting multi-drop deliveriesTrainingFull training given on-site and shadowing shifts prior to going out solo.ApplyIf you are ready to take on this exciting opportunity, apply today by clicking the link belowPeople Solutions do not charge any of their candidates any fees or request deposits at any stage of the recruitment processTPBN1_UKTJ
