On-site Canteen Employee Well-being Programme Day to Day Duties As a Van Delivery Driver, your duties will involve but not limited to: You will be making 50-100 delivery drops per day Driving various delivery vans to multiple delivery locations in a safe and efficient manner Performing pre-trip and post trip inspections of vehicles Ensuring delivery vans are loaded safely and securely. Using and operating a hand scanner/PDA Adhering to all traffic laws and regulations Communicating effectively with Dispatch and customers Maintaining accurate records of shipment, mileage and fuel consumption Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs to management Essential Skills The following skills are essential for this role: Hold a valid UK License No more than six penalty points and no major endorsement codes Punctuality and excellent time keeping skills. Good communication skills Must be able to speak/read a certain level of English. Flexibility and ability to work overtime as and when required.
