TIG WELDER/FABRICATOR
MONDAY – FRIDAY: 08:30AM – 5.30PM
£15.00 PER HOUR
People Solutions are currently recruiting for TIG welder / Fabricator to join our well-established client based in Dudley.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay and room to grow and progress.

Day to Day Duties
As a TIG Welder, your duties will be, but not limited to:
- Reading engineering drawings
- Conduct skilled TIG welding to join and assemble metal components, ensuring structural integrity and adherence to exact specifications
- Prepare metal parts for welding
- Working to tight tolerances
- Set up, operate and maintain TIG welding equipment
- Adhere to safety procedures, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Inspect finished welds for defects and ensure they meet required quality standards
Essential Skills
- High-level proficiency in TIG welding techniques and processes for various metals
- Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Understanding of various metals, such as steel and aluminium, and their welding properties
- A keen eye for detail and a commitment to precision in all welding and fabrication tasks
- Skill in using hand tools and small power tools for metal fabrication and finishing
- Ability to perform basic measurements and calculations for accurate fabrication
- TTIG welding certification is often required
- Previous TIG welding experience, typically 2-3 years, is common
- Strong understanding of welding safety practices and procedures
