People Solutions are currently recruiting for part-time HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client to work Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
Shifts: Friday - Sunday Start times between: 8am - 2pm or 8pm - 11pm. Shift ranges from 8-11 hours on average.
Rates of pay:
- Monday - Friday: £19.20 per hour
- Saturday - Sunday: £20.35 per hour
Rates are PAYE with holiday accrued separately.

Day to Day Duties:
- Class 1 Trunking Depot to Depot
- Occasional collection from suppliers when needed
- Driving/operating refrigerated trailers
- No handball involved
- Daily vehicle checks
Essential Skills:
- Minimum of twelve months experience driving Category CE vehicles
- Valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Valid Drivers Qualification Card (DQC/CPC)
- Experience driving/operating refrigerated trailers
Desirable Experience:
- Knowledge of the UK road network
Training:
- Driving assessment must be passed prior to starting
- Industry related training provided and ongoing support throughout
