VEHICLE PARTS SALES ADVISOR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Parts Sales Advisor to join our well-established client based in Swindon.
This is a fantastic opportunity, offering great benefits and genuine opportunities for growth and progression, with the opportunity to earn commission and achieve an OTE of £30,000+ per year.
This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a Parts Advisor, Automotive Sales Advisor or Vehicle Parts Specialist.
Shifts
• Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
• No weekends or Bank Holidays
Benefits
• Temporary to permanent position
• Weekly pay
• Free on-site parking
• 2.5% commission on all personal sales once permanent
Day-to-Day Duties
As a Vehicle Parts Sales Advisor, your duties will include (but not be limited to):
• Serving customers face-to-face in the parts shop
• Responding to customer enquiries via telephone, email and online platforms including eBay, Facebook, the company website and Find-a-Part websites
• Selling vehicle parts and providing expert advice to customers
• Listing vehicle parts for sale on eBay and other online marketplaces
• Retrieving vehicle parts from the warehouse using ladders where required
• Safely handling and moving vehicle parts
• Completing other ad hoc duties as required
Essential Skills
To be successful in this role, you will need:
• Previous sales experience is essential
• An interest in cars or the automotive industry is preferred
• Good knowledge of vehicle components and the ability to identify vehicle parts
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A reliable, organised and methodical approach to work
• The ability to work at height using ladders and safely handle reasonably heavy items
Desirable Skills
• Previous experience within the automotive or vehicle parts industry
• Experience using online sales platforms such as eBay
• Experience working within a fast-paced sales environment
Training Provided
Full training will be provided, with additional support throughout your placement.
