Chippenham People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Handpack Operative (Days) to join our well-established client based in Chippenham, Wiltshire on a full-time temporary basis. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and genuine opportunities for growth and progression within a reputable production operation.

This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a Handpack Operative, Production Operative, Factory Operative, Food Production Operative, Packing Operative, Warehouse Operative, or General Operative.

Shifts: Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:00

Rates of Pay: £12.76 per hour

Day-to-Day Duties:

  • Packing eggs accurately into trays, boxes and retail packaging in line with customer specifications
  • Operating packing and grading machinery to ensure eggs are processed efficiently and accurately
  • Carrying out manual handling tasks, including loading, unloading and packing products in line with production targets
  • Identifying and reporting any defects, faults or issues with products or machinery
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness and housekeeping within the production area
  • Following all food safety, biosecurity, health and safety, and site procedures
  • Supporting line changeovers, cleaning and preparation between production runs
  • Accurately completing production and quality records where required
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve daily production targets and KPIs

Desirable Experience:
