People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join our well-established client based in Swindon. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing full-time work, immediate starts, and genuine long-term opportunities within a professional transport operation.
This role would suit candidates with experience as a Class 2 Driver, HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, Delivery Driver, or Distribution Driver. This is an ideal role for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for stable day shifts and consistent Monday to Friday work.
Shifts:
- Monday to Friday
- Ongoing day shift work
- Weekend overtime available
Pay:
- £16.35 per hour – Monday to Friday
- Overtime rates available for weekends and bank holidays

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive:

Your duties will include:
- Completing Class 2 multi-drop deliveries to customer locations
- Operating Category C vehicles safely and efficiently
- Carrying out pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections
- Ensuring all goods are loaded and secured correctly before transport
- Adhering to UK traffic laws and transport regulations
- Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers
- Assisting with loading and unloading where required
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery locations
To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:
- A valid UK Category C Driving Licence
- A minimum of 12 months' Class 2 driving experience
- A valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good spoken and written English
- Previous commercial driving experience would be beneficial
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience would be advantageous
- Experience delivering to residential and commercial customers would be desirable
